Leading the team at the Dog and Bull is manager Mike Martin. Mike, who hails from Wem, joined us from nearby Hawkstone Park Hotel where he worked as a chef for ten years in the hotel’s busy kitchen. He also enjoyed six and a half years in the Lanzarote sunshine running a bar and restaurant for holiday-makers.
Away from the pub, Mike can be found on the golf course trying to reduce his very respectable handicap of 20.
Head chef Pete England has lots of experience in cooking fabulous food which you can tell because he's very tall. And he has a beard.
Lauren Forster hails originally from Crewe and has a degree in sports thingummy stuff from Cardiff University. She teaches rugby to children in what spare time we allow her to have, and also enjoys squirrel bating and shove ha'penny. She is 74.
Other Dogs and Bulls........
Pot Noodle, Joe, Lauren, Annie, Jack, James, Caitlin, Chloe, Sophie (sometimes) and Dog, Bull and Sushi (the fish). All they do is bob about pointlessly and they stink (not the fish).
